This Privacy Policy governs our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

MOTA is a patient navigation and planning tool designed to help individuals understand and organize information related to hereditary cancer risk and guideline-based care. MOTA does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Where we send marketing communications, those messages will include information explaining how you may unsubscribe from future marketing messages. Certain service-related or administrative communications necessary to operate the Services may not include an unsubscribe option. To better understand how the Services are used and to improve the experience we offer, MOTA may analyze user demographics, interests, behaviors, usage trends, and outcomes using Personal Data and other information collected through the Services. In connection with these activities, MOTA may create de-identified and aggregated data that does not identify you and cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
MOTA may use such de-identified or aggregated data to analyze usage patterns and outcomes, improve and develop the Services, conduct research and publish insights, and share high-level findings with affiliates, agents, business partners, funders, or collaborators, as well as with other third parties for lawful business purposes. This data will never include your name, contact information, or other direct identifiers. De-identified data is processed in a manner designed to prevent re-identification and is not considered “Personal Data” or “personal information" under applicable privacy laws.
MOTA does not use your information to provide medical advice and does not replace clinical judgment or provider decision-making.

MOTA does not sell personal information.
In addition, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (commonly referred to as the “Shine the Light” law) allows California residents to request, once per calendar year and at no cost, information about whether MOTA has shared certain categories of personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the prior calendar year, and, if so, the identities of those third parties.

Children’s Privacy

The Services are not designed for use by individuals under the age of 18. MOTA does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years old. If you are under 18, you should not access the Services or submit any information through the Site or its features.

MOTA may restrict or make unavailable the Services, in whole or in part, to certain individuals, regions, or jurisdictions at any time. MOTA makes no representations that the Services are lawful, appropriate, or available for use in locations outside the United States.
